Sheboygan United at Hmong Summer Festival

Sheboygan United (formerly Familias Unidas) is a partnership with UW Madison Division of Extension – Sheboygan Positive Youth Development, Sheboygan Department of Public Health, Safe Harbor, Partners for Community Development, Aging Disability Resources Center, and Sheboygan County. Dedicated to increasing access to community resources and facilitating wellness through culturally competent outreach to youth and adults, Sheboygan United connects community members with local resources. Our next resource fair is co-hosted by the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association at the Hmong Summer Festival! Come to Kiwanis Park on Saturday July 23 from 9-3 pm. Community organizations with bilingual support will be there, including Marisela Olivas and CherPao Vang, Bilingual Community Health Workers; Lakeshore Community Health; Inspire Sheboygan County; Lakeshore Technical College; League of Women Voters of Sheboygan County; Mental Health America; Family Connections; Lakeshore Food Bank; and more. COVID vaccination will be available. Birdsall Obear & Associates can connect folks to legal support. Come to experience Hmong culture and stop by our resource fair at the South Gate entrance!
